August 16/17, 2025

Richmond, BC – Richmond Martial Arts proudly hosted a two-day Taekwon-Do training event on August 16–17, 2025, uniting school owners and instructors from across British Columbia and Alberta for a weekend of training, learning, and collaboration.

Led by Senior Instructor Master Barker, the event featured an intensive schedule of technical training and a 1.5-hour business workshop lead by Master Ahmed designed to help school owners strengthen both their martial arts and business leadership skills.

Distinguished masters in attendance included:

· Master David White – President of ITFBC

· Master Chris Law – Umpire Committee Chair

· Master Glen Compo – Prince George

· Master Ahmed – Richmond

The gathering served as an important step forward in uniting ITFBC instructors and working toward the standardization of techniques across the region.

“This event was more than just training—it was about bringing our community of school owners together to share knowledge, strengthen bonds, and ensure our students benefit from consistent, high-quality instruction,” said Master Ahmed.

The weekend marks the first of many training events that ITFBC instructors will be hosting to grow Taekwon-Do in Canada and foster collaboration among schools.
